Kitchen Mix #4 Diamond Dave

Hello,

it's Tuesday and as usual we kick a new mix for this week off. Today we're proud to present to you the master of the kitchen himself, the legend, Mr. Diamond Dave. What can we say about him?
First, he's married. He's a surfer, and a skater. But the most important thing is, he is a passionate music lover for a long time. First idols we're the Sex Pistols and David Bowie. But he also loved the disco stuff like Donna Summer, Chic, Earth, Wind & Fire etc. before he got into the rave scene of England in the late 80s/ early 90s. And some of you know how hard the english people like to party!
Because of his huge experience we trust him in his way of choosing music. And we're sure you would, too. He compiled a selection of fine Deep House tracks and put it into a mix in cooperation with Chris Hird.
Now enjoy the latest mix for "The Diamond's Kitchen" and spread the love!

Recommended Record Release 15.07.2013

Various Artists - seven deadly sins ep - Sccucci Manucci

Sccucci Manucci kicks it's 7th EP off in moustache curling style with a Scandinavian slice of four/four action. Tarjei Nygård's ‘TOGO’ weaves its way through beautifully recorded synth bleeps and bass lines, culminating in a piano breakdown which will have any party reaching for the lasers.
From Norway to Denmark and a producer who always finds a spot in our record bag… Desos. Brian Løgstrup has such a classic take on the deep house sound and “I Can Do” is no exception. Expertly produced with a groove more infectious than Bird-Flu!
Flip over the vinyl and we are proud to welcome none other than Mella Dee. Ryan Aitchison’s influences stem from UK Garage and Bass, but over his last few releases he has managed to carve out a sub friendly and unique take on house music. ‘Love Is’ is a peak time monster – enough said!
Having your first release picked up by none other than Ben Watt’s Buzzin’ Fly Records is no small feat… so with almost a pee of excitement we are proud to unveil Alex Blaxx and his amazing contribution ‘It’s a Race Thing’. This track has had me saying ‘Hoe’s get down’ for the last couple of months (at inopportune times) but this speaks volumes of the infectious nature of the track. Proper roots house business here, done with love and attention!
HOES GET DOWN!
